How to use Microsoft Outlook as your e-mail client on the web?

  1. Open your web browser and go to the Outlook website: https://outlook.office.com/

            Enter your full email address(ahmad@uthm.edu.my)

2. Enter your password associated with your Outlook account and click “Sign in.”

4. Once you’re signed in, you’ll see the Outlook inbox. On the left sidebar, you’ll see a list of your email folders. You can click on any of these folders to view the emails inside.

5. To compose a new email, click on the “New mail” button in the top-left corner of the page. A new window will open where you can enter the recipient’s email address, a subject, and the message body. Once you’re finished, click “Send” to send the email.

6. To reply to an email, open the email and click on the “Reply” button. A new window will open where you can enter your response. Once you’re finished, click “Send” to send the reply.

7. To delete an email, open the email and click on the “Delete” button. The email will be moved to the trash folder.

8. To search for an email, use the search bar at the top of the page. Enter keywords related to the email you’re looking for, and press enter.

9. To change your e-mail signature, click on the “gear” icon on top-right corner and type “signature” in the search box. Click “Email signature” below the box. Create a name for the signature and enter your desired info in the box provided, click “Save” once ready.
