How to use Authy app for setup 2-Factor Authentication?
1. Please download and configure Authy app first before entering username and password at the login screen. Open the Authy app and enter your mobile phone to proceed.
2. Enter your PERSONAL EMAIL to proceed.
3. Verify you phone number via SMS or WhatsApp(if your number supported).
4. After successfully verified, tap the “+” icon to proceed.
5. Tap on “Enter Code Manually” to proceed.
6. Now, lets open the system you would like to use. Enter username and password at the Login screen and click “Sign In”.
7. Accept the terms and conditions. Click on “Unable to scan?” and a series of code will be shown.
8. Type in the 32 code exactly with the space as you see on your computer into the Authy app n your smartphone. *Note ~ for the purpose of this tutorial, the 32 code will not be enter correctly.
9. You can enter “UTHM” to auto search for the logo or just tap the back arrow to proceed.
10. Choose ‘Generic Logo” and you may also change it color. Tap “CONTINUE” to proceed.
11. Enter account nickname as “UTHM” and tap on ‘SAVE”.
12. You can now enter the 6 digit code shown by the app into the OTP input field on your computer.
13. Click “Submit” to proceed after you enter the details.
14. You are successfully use Authy as an alternative authenticator app.
