How to use Cooper Authy app to setup Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
1. Download first the Cooper Authy app via the Huawei AppGallery. Open the app and tap the “+” icon at the top right conner.
2. Approve permission to use the phone camera and scan the QR code at the “Authentication” screen. Enter the 6 digit code as usual and click ‘Submit” on the computer to proceed.
3. Login to your outlook web and navigate to this link -> security-info
4. Click “Choose a method” then click “Authenticator App”.
5. Click “I want to use a different authenticator app” and click “Next”.
6. Click “Next” to continue.
7. Open Cooper Authy app and scan the QR code.
8. Tap on the UTHM email account on Cooper Authy app and enter 6 digit code on your computer browser and click “Next”.
9. You have now successfully setup MFA via TOTP 6 digit using Cooper Authy once you see the TOTP added to your security info lists. DO NOT uninstall the Cooper Authy app and account inside it as you need to use it for future login approval.
